Re: Call to mysqld_safe in mysql.server script keeps script running.

Hi Peter,

I understand mysqld/mysqld_safe are supposed to keep running but by the way it's output is being discarded in the mysql.server script I would think that mysql.server is not supposed to keep running?

It works fine on the command line and mysql.server returns after starting the daemon but not when I'm calling "mysql.server start" from libssh2.
