Falcon max useable buffer memory on 32bit systems

Can someone please explain what the max amount of useable memory for buffer
will be with Falcon using Linux on a 32bit system.

For example, I have 32bit CPU servers that have 8GB physicall memory.
How much of it can be used for buffering ?
Will the buffer be limited by the 2^32 address range ?
Or could we pool several buffers together?

Could we use a seperate buffers for another databases?
E.g. assuming that I have two equall big database on that machine could I allocate one buffer to each database of about 4GB each?

Can you please explain all the differences of using Falcon on 64bit and 32bit systems

Many thanks in advance.

Gunnar
