Pass-through SSL Authentication

I have been able to successfully establish an SSL connection to a MySQL database, both via replication and via PHP website. However, when I introduce the MySQL Enterprise Agent to monitor SQL queries, the Enterprise Agent comes back with an Access Denied error message.

Is it possible for the MySQL Enterprise Agent to proxy an SSL connection so SQL queries can be monitored? Or do I have to set up a separate MySQL account and/or agent to achieve this outcome?
