Usage of Pythian plugin for Oracle Grid Control - for MySQL monitoring

Greetings,

How useful could be Pythian's plugin (for Oracle OEM GC) - for MySQL availability and performance monitoring ?

We use the Plugin for our GC 11.1 and it seems to work fine.
But, the metrics don't seem to be very reliable.
For example, i use Response Time metric to monitor a non-busy MySQL DB, and get a lot of critical alerts - although the DB is very quiet...

Could somebody please refer to some best practices for MySQL monitoring by means of Pythian's plugin ?
Or at least, which metric is most reliable ?

Best regards and looking forward your assistance,
Avi Vainshtein
