MySQL HA 2 instances + iscsi shared data dir

Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to have 2 machines with mysql,
a single data dir mounted by iscsi on the 2 machines (ext3 fs),
then one machine would be master (writing/reading)
and the other would be the slave (only reading)?

So an active/active load balancing architecture.

And i have a few DBs with MyISAM and another with INNODB.

And if this is possible is it better than GFS or DRBD?
