biggest four tables (130 tables in total) have about 1 billion records each.

sharding key: primary key (auto_increment) or datetime

rough figures:
260 writes/inserts per second
10000 readings per second

i am in the early stag of evaluation of different technologies.

also, any idea about citusdb (postgresql 9.5) please?
