R/W backend down = all backends down

Hi,

I`m testing the 0.8.0 binary from mysql.com.
In my config I have one r/w backend and two r/o backends.
To be exact one r/o is the r/w with another IP, anyway, this should't be a problem.

After making enough queries, such that the pool is filled I shut down my r/w server. Now I get the error message from the proxy that all my backends are down, nevertheless the one r/o is running and usable.

I use the rw-splitting lua script and have only changed the poolsizes.

At the end of the page http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=42841 it is said, that there were some changes in "proxy.connections" which are not in the script.

So, is the error message a bug, maybe resulting from the "old" script, or is it the normal/desired behavior?

Chris
