Jan,
You did a really fine job on this proxy. It has been running great. I have had the proxy running for four days now and I have performed a lot of queries and writes and only one time did I ever see a case where a save would not go and caused an error. It looked like it was on the read handle at the time. But nothing else. Everything else has been perfect. I do not know what statement caused the problem but I am sure it was some corner case.
Now, how do I supress all the console output? :-)
