There's something here that puzzles me.
Given this "chllenge" used to scramble the password, how come switching servers even works?
I mean. If we have backend-A and backend-B and a proxy and the user initially authenticates against backend-A but subsequently we send queries to backend-B, how can that work? We never authenticated against backend-B.
It undeniably does work, but how is this done given the challenge and scrambled password feature...?
