i just checked with older versions:
200, 215 and 219 work as desired, 220 doesn't build and 221, 222, 230 and 267 always try to use the master.
ok, the first query is always going to the server, but as soon as there are two clients it gets split in the desired (r/w) way (not tested under heavy load yet)
