Stupid Questions .. getiing them outta the way

First off. This technology is amazing! Very impressive!

So I'm new to the MySQL Proxy package and correct me if I'm worng but after the installation, I'll run it like this:

1) Write some LUA Scripts
2) Start the main backend mysqld
3) Start the mysql Proxy Daemon
4) Connect and do stuff

My only (and hopefully only stupid question) is, how do I shut down the proxy daemon? When I go to shut down the main database server, the proxy service is still running right?

I've just read throught the tutorials and set it up on my (Windows XP) laptop. I have a 5.0.45 version I'd like to connect to. But I'm not seeing anywhere where it mentions a shutdown procedure.

Thanks all!
