customised monitoring with mysql-proxy

Hi

We are using the MySQL Proxy to make some customized logs but we encountered some issues.

I’ve made a script to test every application’s request against every constant of the proxy.
When I run my application via the proxy, the only comparisons that are met were proxy.COM_QUERY and proxy.COM_QUIT.
I was mainly interested in the proxy.COM_CONNECT to log connection information.
Any ideas?

Is it also possible to append or prepend queries in the query queue and to execute them with another user? This would be handy because we want to log everything into a different database and not all users may have privileges to this database.
