This article is about MySQL Load Balancer,
are those statements right for mysql-proxy too?
I see 'SHOW GLOBAL STATUS' in general query log on my mysql backends,
i suppose that 'threads_connected' or 'threads_running' variables are cheched, but i haven't found any evidences of this.
