mysql always crash recovery on windows vm
Hi,
We have a Windows 2008 R2 VM. We also have MySQL setup properly as a Windows Service.
Whenever we have to restart this VM, when it starts back up and starts MySQL, we always see "starting crash recovery" in the mysql error log.
Why would we always see this?
Is windows not properly shutting down MySQL? If I manually stop/start the service using the Services control panel, I don't see this message. I only see it when I have to restart the VM.
Thanks!
