The value in memcached is in that it is a distributed storage container. Your queue implementation is 1=1. What is the value then of having it?

Please do not take this as being confrontational, I have thought about the queue bit for a while now, but I have not come up with a good reason for implementing it behind memcached for the above reason.

Are you planning on keeping the protocol the same? If some I might be interested in adding support to libmemcached for it.
