MySQL Error log configuration

Hi guys,

I am running MySQL 5.5.21 (64 bit) in a production server. I can notice that MySQL error logs (/var/lib/mysq/hostname.err) grows in GBs. I have some EVENTs scheduled and MySQL error log file also shows following entry.

"120801 16:29:00 [ERROR] Event Scheduler: [zaeeem@%][advoss.EVT_CalculateProfit] No data - zero rows fetched, selected, or processed"

As you can see this is not the ERROR actually. How to configure MySQL only to write geniune errors into log file. Any help will be appreciated on this.
