Relationship lines don't line up

I have just used MySQL Workbench to create a database diagram for a new database I am putting together. Unfortunately the relationship arrows don't line up with the columns they relate to.
For example, I have a table tour, whose primary key is id, and a table portofcall with a field called tour that is a foreign key into the tour table. The line joining the two in the diagram starts next to title (the field after tour in portofcall) and ends next to name (2 fields after id in the tour table).
Is this deliberate (why?)?
I am running Windows XP (patched up to date) on twin 19" LCD monitors set to 1280x1024, with the default 96 DPI font size.
