MSQL Workbench does not connect
Hi. I recently downloaded MySQL (Server and Workbench) to my iMac and can not get Workbench to work properly. It asks me for a username (by default root) and a password. I have tried entering a password and not entering a password but get the same result that says permission denied. If I turn off the MySQL server I can open MySQL Workbench with a new Database tha I created but if I turn on the MySQL server then I can’t get MySQL Workbench to work.
