Memory governor for Workbench

Is there a way to limit how much memory can be used by MySQL Workbench?

We are facing memory pressure on server where the Workbench is installed (not server hosts MysQL database). Due to the serer may have multiple instances running simultaneously from different users, we want better control in memory usage.

In SQL Workbench/J client, it has such configuration (vm.heapsize.preferred) for us to governor the memory usage so that the tool will not consume more than the threshold we defined. Is there an equivalent setting in MySQL Workbench?

Thanks!
