Cannot connect to MySQL Connections anymore

Hello. Using MySQL Workbench 8.0 on Windows 10. I am almost certain it's MYSQL 8 that's installed on my PC.
I was using MySQL Workbench connections quite a bit, but now I cannot connect. Under MySQL Connections, when I click my connection, it asks for a password. Sadly, every password I can think of using does not work, so I may need to know how to reset.
I tried resetting using a text file and command line earlier, but it threw a bunch of errors. I was hoping there is an easier, softer way to get this going again. I just need access to my tables again.
I did restart my computer. MYSQL80 service is running. I'm not sure what I did. Perhaps I could start over?
