If your Foreign Key columns become part of the PK it is probably because you're
using the "Identifying Relationship" tools. If you use the Non-identifying
relationship tool (the ones with a dashed line) it will leave them out of the PK.

You can also toggle the PK status of a column by double-clicking the icon
at the left of the columns list in the table editor.
