Hi John,
we are currently working on some templates one can use to have a more easy start. Give us till RC2 and then we get you started.
In the meantime you can dig into Lua if you are not already familiar with that. Check
http://forge.mysql.com/wiki/Lua and the references at the bottom of the page.
You can also check the links on
http://dev.mysql.com/workbench/?page_id=10 but they are for the old Preview Edition and need to be updated.
We are going to make a post on the forum once we are ready for prime time.
