Hi Rahul,

MyISAM will silently ignore any foreign keys defined in a CREATE TABLE statement. As such, Workbench cannot reverse engineer relationships between MyISAM tables. However, when designing schemas in Workbench, you can create foreign keys between tables, and they will be stored in the model file.

It is not necessary (even with InnoDB) to have foreign keys defined between tables to build a relationship; that is done at query time based on the join condition, e.g. SELECT * FROM table1 JOIN table2 ON table1.x = table2.y
