Cannot Configure MySql 6.0.5
Hi, I am new to MySql and am trying to Install v6.0.5
Had previously installed v5.0.67, uninstalled it through "add/remove programs" in Control Panel and also removed C:Programs\MySql folder.
Problem is when I try to configure through MySql Server Instance Configuration Wizard" it still recognises v5.0.67 although there is no service name and the Config file address is shown in red. v6.0.5 is there also, however when following the wizard through, the "install as a windows service" check box is grayed out.
Can anyone give some pointers?
