Are you using the original SQL CREATE script for the File > Export > Forward Engineer SQL Alter Script that you have used when you first reverse engineered that database?

Can you try a fresh File > Import > Reverse Engineer SQL Create Script with that script and see if you can import it correct?

Can you also try to export a new SQL CREATE script via File > Export > Forward Engineer SQL Create Script

It would be interesting to see if the other two functions work as expected.

One reason could be that you have a table with an empty name. If you cannot indicate such a table, please open a bug report of http://bugs.mysql.com and attach the model & SQL script file so we can debug the issue. The files will be treated confidential of course.

Thanks a lot,
Mike
