E-R graphic -> SQL script -> Database

i created a simple database project with two empty tables just to test the basics, tryed exporting everything as SQL scrip (as forward e.g. is locked) then copyed the resulting script from the txt file and past it in the MySQL command line...
- The database, with the name of the project, is created
- but there's no sign of the tables, "Empty set"
is it a problem of wrong export settings or a compatibility issue?
Workbench 5.0.30 OSS
MySQL 5.0.77 community
hope there's a way to resolve this...
