Where's the 'Extended' in Workbench's EER Diagram?

According to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enhanced_Entity-Relationship_Model):

The EER Model includes all of the modelling concepts introduced by the ER model. Additionally it includes the concepts of a subclass and superclass, along with the concepts of specialization and generalization. Furthermore, it introduces the concept of a union type or category, which is used to represent a collection of objects that is the union of objects of different entity types.

I read that MySQL Workbench is an EER diagram tool, but I see no examples, instructions, etc., for adding subclasses, creating unions, etc.

I'd like to learn how to use Workbench for this and would appreciate any guidance, even if it's only to say that Workbench doesn't do subclasses so I'll stop wasting my time!

Thanks!
