Hi,

if MySQL Workbench crashs on startup it has nothing do to with your hardware. Something is probably missing (could be one of the 2 prerequisits .net 4.0 client or VC++ 2013 runtime). However, the installer should have told you if that were the case. It's checking for both packages.

The error message above is not useful to find the reason of the crash, however the start might have created a log with some more info. Look in C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench\log\wb.log.
