Lots of issues with MySql Workbench 6.2

I recently upgraded to version 6.2.

First problem is it crashes. A lot.
Second problem is it reports errors in my SQL when there are none. For example, I change a trigger or function and try to save and it keeps saying there's a syntax error. I copy the body of the trigger or function, delete it and create a new one pasting in the body that previously generated an error and it saves just fine.
Third problem is I add a foreign key to a table and it says I have a syntax error.
Fourth problem is I have a table where it won't let me create foreign keys at all. I select the table, select the column, then select the referenced column and it simply blanks out all of my selections.

For me, this version of the product is pretty much unusable. It takes 30-60 minutes to design a simple table because I keep having to revert my work or restart the app altogether.

This is running on MySQL 5.5.25 on Mac OS X 10.9.5.

Would love to hear suggestions as to how I can correct the issues.
