first of all based on your reply I'm not sure which Workbench version are you using, would be good to know it so we can help you better.

Regarding import, there are few options that Workbench support. One of it is direct data transfer called Migration Wizard which can transfer data between Ms Access and MySQL that can be found in the shortcut area on the home screen.

Another option is to use Table Data Export and Import Wizard which is available once you connect and right click on the schema you'd like the data to be imported.
