Re: Stop Server not working

Thanks, Mike. One thing, I'm quite new to Workbench, so I'm not really sure where to look. If I'm supposed to look in the "Manage Server Connections" panel, I don't see anything that looks like a place to specify a command for the shutdown action. I will say that when I click the Stop Server button, I am prompted to give a program called wbadminhelper.exe permission to modify my computer. When I click on the "Show Details" link, I am shown the following: "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE\wbadminhelper.exe" 58544 UXSM01X0 B2F2FY02 EXEC sc stop MySQL

Another thing I might mention is that I am also unable to start and stop in Netbeans, and I was also unable using Notifier, although the Notifier problem I was able to resolve by following some instructions I found else where which told me to go to Actions>Manage Monitored Items, then to delete and re-add the instance. Since doing that Notifier works fine for starting and stopping.
