M$oft has been enamored with Hungarian case for forty years, but case sensitivity can be an issue in MySQL, especially on Linux, so don't use Hungarian case in MySQL identifier names. All lower case is best practice.

Another MySQL gotcha: it accepts Check syntax as a sop to ISO SQL syntax compatibility, but does not implement it.

Both update queries work with MySQL 5.7.17.
