Mariadb 5.7 access denied
Hello there.
Right now am trying to work remotely with 5.7 mysql off my server thru like mysql workbench but am getting access denied. Tried with root credentials.
Never happened with 5.5 version. Also phpmyadmin when going to users to view am getting
Warning: Your privilege table structure seems to be older than this MySQL version!
Please issue command mysql_upgrade or run the script mysql_fix_privilege_tables (for older versions) that should be included in your MySQL server distribution to solve this problem!
Ran upgrade to no avail. Version for mariadb 5.7 didn’t have script file.
Port scan on my wan ip recognizes 3306.
Yikes pls. help, am loss sin' too much sleep here. :0
