I've made the same workaround suggested by Guilherme. It's working here too.
I'm also in Brazil and usually I work using the Brazilian Portuguese language and the keyboard layout EUA - International.
I've set up the alternative keyboard layout EUA only to use with Mysql Visual SQL Editor.
The important thing to say is that all other software work fine using keyboard layout EUA - International. Only for Mysql Workbench I need to select a different layout keyboard.
