Hi, Mike - thanks for replying. Yes, you correctly understood my question, exactly.

BUT:

I believe I've found the problem. Evidently, when you lack access to databases, Workbench doesn't even show them to you in the browser. (I'm new to databases in general, so I wasn't expecting this, though I can understand the rationale for it.)

Last night, for another task, I created a new database and gave myself access to it, and when I went to confirm what you said in your post, I noticed it in the "schemas" area. So, I think this is fine now.

I appreciate your reply. Do we somehow mark posts as "solved" in this forum?
