MySql connection does not work
Hello, I'm brand new to using MySQL workbench. When I open MySQL workbench there is already a connection icon called local instance mySql57. When I test the connection it does not work. Its using the local host IP 127.0.0.1 and the port 3306. I'm using version 6.3.9 64bit an Windows 10 Pro. I tried creating a new connection and I still can not get it to work. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I also opened up my CMD and looked at the ipconfig and used an IP from there, but that did not work either.
Please help!! I need to be able to complete my home work and I can't get it to work :(
