Hey Peter! Yes it is a confirmed bug linked to the MWB file; Oracle is investigating it now. I'm just glad I wasn't going crazy. I solved this last night on Skype with a 8-year veteran MySQL DBA. So it was good to finally confirm it.

I think I'll just use Workbench for now; with this bug problem solved and it looks like dataedo will do what I need from a technical documentation perspective, I think all bases are covered.
