Re: MySQL Workbench does not start for Mac
I downloaded and installed mysql-workbench-community-8.0.23-macos-x86_64 on 1/27/2021, using MacOS 11.1 Big Sur and get the same message, "MySQL Workbench.app can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. The software needs to be updated".
Is there a work around or fix for this? Another forum topic suggested installing an older version of MySQL but a lot of the comments there commented on error messages related to Python.
