Re: Workbench can't connect but mysql command line can?

I've essentially given up and installed an alternative client (DBeaver) - it's a problem with Workbench somewhere. Uninstalling it and reinstalling it didn't help - 8.0.22 hangs when trying to open a connection and 8.0.23 crashes on startup of the workbench.
