Error to connect with an external database

Hello,

I connected an external database on OVH, I connected it on a new website for a test and it works correctly. The website is also on OVH.

Then, I'd like to connect to my database from mysql Worbench.

I created the IP mask for accept localhost connexion with 127.0.0.1

When I complete the fields in workbench, I click ok, I wait
And I get the error : Unable to connect to localhost.

And there nothing else. Just this message.

So, should I install some software ? like xampp or wamp server ???

I hope someone could help me...
