Totally lost.(sorry)

Ok, so we're a retired couple and all I'm trying to do is sync our calendar apps between two computers, on Windows 10, basically to keep track of various medical appointments and the like. Sounds simple enough, how hard could it be...??

My calendar requires MySQL. No problem. Installed version 8, installed workbench.
But that's where it seems to end. Got workbench open, showing host, socket, port etc etc.

Again, all I wanna do is sync the calendar app on two boxes.(Vueminder), but clearly I am missing a couple dozen steps. Yea, I've never done anykinda work like this, first time user and in way over my head...

Any ideas or shortcuts or whatever...??
