Incompatible/nonstandard server version or connection protocol detected (10.3.22)

Hello, this is my first post. So what version of SQL server are we compatible with by now? I was very surprised to see this message:

"Incompatible/nonstandard server version or connection protocol detected (10.3.22)"

Also when I was trying to connect to a database through the Connections tab the software crashed. I am running Win10 with good hardware setup SSD, plenty of RAM on an HP G7

(Is it not possible to add Images to this forum?)
