Shared my.ini file for multiple MySQL Workbench connections??

I have MySQL Server running on a Windows 11 machine.

So when i launch Workbench on that machine it loads the my.ini file located 'locally' in C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\my.ini.

This file has all been modified to set specific parameters for my installation.


If i want to run Workbench on a different pc on the same network it obviously has no knowledge of the my.ini file on the server.

Do i need to share that my.ini file in a central location and point the second computer to that my.ini file?

So basically what i'm asking is how to you make sure that Workbench running on different computers are able to load the same my.ini file? What is the best practice?
