Hey! I faced a similar problem during a MySQL Workbench upgrade on Windows. What worked for me was fully uninstalling the old version and manually deleting any leftover config files. Also, double-check that you're installing the correct version for your system (64-bit or 32-bit). The [MySQL Workbench Documentation](https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/) can also be super helpful for troubleshooting.
