Connecting to SRV host

How do I configure MySql Workbench to connect to a hostname with SRV records? I've tried putting OPT_DNS_SRV=true in the connection options but get "Wrong type passed for OPT_DNS_SRV, expected bool". I've also tried putting the srv scheme in the hostname but it says that's not a valid URI.
