Hey Don, Hope you are doing well!

The issue is related to MySQL 8.4, where the older 'PASSWORD()' syntax is no longer supported.

Please log in using an admin MySQL account and run:

ALTER USER 'username'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'NewPassword';

After this, you should be able to log in to MySQL Workbench with the new password.

Let me know if you are able to update the password.
