Data Recovery when connection could not open

Hi friends,
I installed MySQL Server 6.0 and using Navicat. It had been working properly for a couple of weeks. Now it shows an error message when i try to connect MySql ("Can't Connect MySql server"). Can i get the data back from MySql server in this condition?
