ibdata file deleted - how to recover databases

hi,
ibdata and ib_logfile1 & ib_logfile2 were deleted.
I managed to get mysql restarted by running the init but I can't access to the Databases.
the engine is seeing each DB, I can do a 'show table", but trying to access any , I get

"SQL show index from `admin` failed : Table 'asterisk.admin' doesn't exist in engine"

for example for my asterisk table.
I found many post on Internet, but 1st I'm not sure of the following statement :
does all my data are lost ? ( I still have all the files under /var/lib/mysql ...)

if they are not, what is the proper procedure to get back everything ? ( already tried several solutions I found on the net, but none is working ...)

Thanks in advance
