Hi Scott,

Is it possible that you did not copy your ibdata? and your ib_logfile? With InnoDB the data are stored in there (if you are not using innodb_file_per_table=1)

Best is, with a stopped database, to copy the whole datadir directory (typically /var/lib/mysql). And do not forget your my.cnf
