Hi Kirk, there's a solution in your case: Reissue the "CREATE TABLE" statement on some other MySQL server. This will generate a correct .frm file for you.

For Sean, though, the problem is quite a bit worse. In any transactional database, the log file is a crucial component, and it's usually not possible to recover the data to a consistent point without the log file.
